I have a friend, a cosplayer/anime friend, who wants to become an artist. HERE ARE HER WORDS:
"Bellaire is a great school. I love bellaire.
i want to be homeschooled.
i can't explain it properly, but it's a cumulative thing. i've never agreed with takeing core classes- because i'l have no use for science and math and ect when i'm an artist. homeschooling to me means working at a pace in an environment that is a lot friendlier then being surrounded by drug dealers and whores like i am in a few of my classes."
So I get that she finds school to be a waste. I get that she hates the people there. What I don't get is that she doesn't know how to deal with it. Maybe it's just me, but seriously? She's in the same grade as me, and she doesn't know how to deal with them? So apparently her whole school is filled with whores and druggies? My god. I'm appalled. I get that Bellaire is a ghetto area, but this is just ughh.
Honestly I don't think she knows that you need a good education to become an artist. It seems like she doesn't care about finishing school. My proof?

Honestly. THAT'S CLAMP. A group of... is it three or four people... I DON'T KNOW. But it's not one person. D:<

It's not like I'm saying that she's not going to get better, but that's where she is now. OH and may I include something else?
She over charges for her artwork. SERIOUSLY. Like a 8.5x11 print of a mix between prismacolor pencils and markers media is $8. UH. REALLY? Personally I wouldn't buy something like that for the price. (If you don't know, mixing marker and colorpencil is a BAAAD idea.) I mean, I got a HQ POSTER for $10. A POSTER. And it was really pretty too. ; 3; How does she think she can sell her print for $8? And then she also has digitally drawn badges for $5. I don't get it. Why why why so expense. Overpricing much? Ugh.
